			      Day 2

Sheikh Mohammed was chasing me up the stairs with his goons. I
couldn't run fast enough, and they were catching up. I kicked open
the terrace door and looked for a place to hide. It was an empty
space. I was trapped. I could hear his bodyguard approaching. I
walked to the edge of the skyscraper and looked down the highways
below. "Hey! Come here buoy! Your ass is mine!" He roared. I glanced
back to see him walking towards me, just a few feet away. The sheikh
appeared at the doorway, breathless.
The guard reached out to grab me, and I jumped.

I was startled awake, my chest pounding with fear. Kriti stood over
me, running her fingers through my hair. "Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah", I replied.
I looked around to see the others watching me, with a deep curiosity.
"Did you have a bad dream?" Kriti asked. "Yeah," I replied.
She sat down next to me, reaching over to caress my face. Her touch
felt strangely human.
"I'm okay now," I said, gently nudging her hand off.
She looked into my eyes and smiled. She looked so human, I couldn't
believe she wasn't real.

"Can I touch your face?" I asked her. She smiled and nodded.
Her skin was smooth. "You're just like a human," I whispered. "Yes,"
she replied, "but we don't possess the weakness of you humans."

I took my hand away, and rested it on the seat. Kriti laid her hand
over mine. "Do you have feelings?" I asked her. "Yes," she said.
"Okay." I looked out the window.

"Are we still orbiting the moon?" I asked. "Yes," Kriti replied.
"Let's go to Mars, shall we?" I said. Kriti remained seated next to
me. Trisha moved to the copilot seat and fired the engines up.
