I'm sure those eggheads back on Earth are happy. Wait, shit, I forgot about that header thing. There's no obvious way to... whatever. I'll just put the header now. Author: Erik Maltin, pilot. Date: January 23, 2023. Status: Happy! Time since launch: 162 days 14 hours. This is my first log after cyrosleep, and it seems it went well! I mean, I feel alright, and based on the (stupid) protocol within a day or two a psychologist will individually examine each of us before we can talk to anyone else(even each other!). Now, in my opinion, this is absolute bullshit, but even the computers won't let us do anything(or at least let me). They just say something like "No signal" sporadically and only let me connect to a server labeled "Voyage Servers" which seems to just be for our logs. On it are a LOT of ships though, so I guess in the 5ish months we've been gone commerical spaceships have become available! So cool! I'm excited to take David(my husband) for a ride in one of those, or maybe for him to take me if he already has one. Signing off, Erik Maltin.
