Author: Captain Rowlf.
Date: January 23, 2023 on board. April 7, 2143-2342 at home,
      apparently.
Status: Depressed.
Time since launch: 162 days 14 hours 4 minutes 58.445105051622
seconds on board. Multiple hundred years at home.

We're totally dead.

It's been hundreds of years at home! What the fuck! We were just
climbing into our test cyrostatis chambers so the geeks back at
NASA could see if they worked and next thing we know it's been a
few months but everyone we ever knew back on Earth is DEAD! We think
SOMETHING must've failed with the autopilot given we are almost out
of fuel and the computer reports we were going incredibly close to
the speed of light. Either they left us to die by not telling us
they were trying out a warp drive, or they installed it and the
autopilot failed and they thought we were just lost to space. WHAT
THE FUCK! It'd be a miracle if anyone even reads this given nobody
has checked out our ship in the hundreds of years we've been in
stasis!

I can't face my crew. They came with me willing to die but this...
this is worse. They missed everything. The pilot, Erik Maltin,
is(well, was) married and looking forward to growing old with his
husband.

This is all my fault.
